Financial Mastery

Attendees will be provided a basic understanding of the three key financial reports needed to ensure any business is operating profitably and at capacity. Attendees will obtain the skill to read a profit and loss statement, a statement of cash flows, and a balance sheet. They will also understand the relationship between the three. Peg & Pete will answer any detailed questions from the audience related to understanding financial statements.

As business owners and managers, we know that we now have multiple generations within our businesses. Peg & Pete will review the characteristics and needs of each generation in a light - hearted way. They will also provide tips on quickly building strong relationships with each. In addition, they will outline some “watchouts” when appropriate.

Peg has been a Certified Business Coach and has owned her coaching practice since 2006, merging her practice with partner Pete McDowell in 2007. Peg is a coach who focuses on improving and leveraging people skills to achieve dramatic improvement in business results. She has spent more than 18 years as a coach helping busy executives increase their effectiveness and business owners improve results with less effort. Peg develops very close relationships with her clients and helps them to do the same with their employees. Peg has worked with Business Owners in Construction, Remodeling, and Trades for 15 years, and works with remodeling firms from $1 million to $50 million in order to grow their leadership, team culture, and financial profitability rapidly while the Business Owner enjoys more life outside of work.

Pete has been a Certified Business Coach and has owned a coaching practice since 2004, joining with Business Partner Peg Buehrle in 2007. He is a coach who is passionate about helping people leverage their strengths to improve business performance. He is a believer in increasing business results by focusing on how we interact and communicate with other people, and is a financial expert. His direct professional experience is in manufacturing, but he understands that in any business, as we help others succeed, our business will succeed. Pete has coached Business Owners throughout the Construction, Remodeling, and Trades industries since 2007 and has worked with remodeling firms from $1 million to $50 million across the country in order to grow their businesses through increased profitability, leadership skills, and team culture.
