Chief Justice Kennedy is a strong proponent of judicial independence, timely justice, innovation and community partnerships.
She has shown an emphasis on the court having predictability and consistency, which allows business, large and small, to plan, and have assurance in how laws will be interpreted, thus, avoiding surprises.
